CHEAT Morokot

Cheat Morokot is a tech and policy professional with degrees in Electronic Automation and Telecommunication from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University. Her research focused on EEG Signal Classification and Computer Interface for Eye-Swipe Typing. Recently, she completed a Post Graduate Program in Cyber Security from Simplilearn, designed by MIT Schwarzman College of Computing and EC-Council.

Morokot has worked at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications of Cambodia for five years as a deputy director in the Satellite Policy Department and a member of the Technical Secretariat of Universal Service Obligation. She also serves as a part-time lecturer and researcher at the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology, teaching Cryptography and Data Compression and researching Internet of Things.

Throughout her career, Morokot has demonstrated strong technical analysis and project management skills in technology, ISP, and telecommunications projects. Her expertise spans wireless communication, robotics, human-computer interaction, and satellite imagery analysis.
